Class of 2012 Members

Deborah Blondin is SVP and Commercial Team Leader at Centrix Bank.  A resident of Bow, NH with more than 27 years of experience in the banking industry with emphasis in commercial lending, Debbie serves on the Board of The Trustees of Camp Carpenter and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua. In addition, she served as Board Chair of New Horizons for NH; Board Member and Allocations Chair with Greater Manchester United Way; and is a past/present member of several organizations, including Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Steering Committee Leadership Manchester and the Program and Government Review Task Force. Debbie is a graduate of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program Class of 1990; American Banker’s Association National Commercial Lending School; and holds a BS in Management with a concentration in Finance from Babson College located in Wellesley, MA.

Tom Bolton has been an officer with Nashua Police Department since 2006 and served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1999-2005 where he was Boatswain Mate, responsible for performing search and rescue operations and enforcement of United States maritime laws.  Tom holds a Master of Science from Boston College, is married, and resides in Nashua.

Eric Brand is President of P&L Landscaping in Merrimack, NH and was one of the first contractors to receive UNH’s T2 certification in winter salt reduction for commercial salt applicators and is the only “Certified Aquascape Installer” in the state of New Hampshire. Eric is an active member of the Nashua Area Home Builders and Remodelers Association (NAHBRA) and the Nashua and Merrimack Chambers of Commerce.  Eric and his wife Donna have three children and he enjoys camping, snowmobiling, skiing, golfing and swimming with his family. As a local sports fan, he enjoys attending Red Sox and Patriots games as time allows. He has played in a flag football league for many years as well as coaching children in local soccer and wrestling teams.

Mike Brenker has lived in Nashua since 2008 after relocating from Rhode Island to accept a position with BAE Systems as a Systems Engineer. He serves on the steering committee for iUGO, Nashua’s Young Professional’s organization, as well as serving on the Young Professional Advisory Board of Stay Work Play, an organization established in 2009 to support and advance recommendations made by the Governor’s Task Force for the Retention of Young Workers in New Hampshire. Mike studied Ocean Engineering and German in college and spent a year living and working abroad.

Eric Carlson, Building Site Manager at Oracle supporting NAM Real Estate and Facilities organization, has worked for Oracle for 14 years. He manages building operations and real estate in the Nashua and Cambridge area as well as Montpelier and Burlington Vermont. Eric is currently working towards an FMA (Facility Management Administrator) and RPA (Real Property Administrator) designation.  He also holds a certification in (CFBM) Certified Food and Beverage Management.  Eric aims to continue the Oracle’s commitment to actively partner with local agencies in the Nashua area and to the local communities in which its employees live and work, through its Community Partnership program.  He resides in Manchester, NH with his wife and two teenage children.

Patricia Casey is Director of Advancement with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua where she is responsible for the Club’s overall resource development activities as well as special projects including strategic planning.  Tricia holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire and volunteers her time in many capacities including service as 1st Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, a member of the St. Christopher School Board in Nashua, NH, team manager of her son’s ice hockey and lacrosse teams and her daughter’s soccer team.  Tricia is chairs the Legacy Playground fundraising committee and serves as one of the project leaders.  She lives in Nashua, NH with her husband and two children.

Brad Croteau is the Financial Services Manager, AVP for People’s United Bank. Brad joined People’s in 2010 and came from a large banking institution where he managed a branch in Bedford, NH from 2004-2010.   Brads role as a Financial Services Manager includes working with clients on checking accounts, savings accounts, loans, credit lines, retirement plans, merchant card processing, and payroll services, business lending, insurance, and investments (NMLS 560693 Series 6/63 and NH Life licensed).   He is an ambassador with the Nashua Chamber of Commerce and is on the board of the Nashua Front Door Agency.  Brad graduated Leadership Greater Nashua in 2012

Tom Dalton is Branch Manager of the Nashua Bellwether Community Credit Union with responsibilities including governance over a team of Financial Service Consultants and Member Service Representatives.  Born in Exeter NH, Tom attended Notre Dame College where he studied Psychology and Sociology.  Tom resides in New Boston, NH with his wife, son and four dogs. He enjoys music, movies, going to concerts as well as winter hiking and camping.  Tom began his commitment to service within his community at a young age through involvement with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America where he received the rank of Eagle Scout. He continues to volunteer within the Scouting community, is an active member of Rotary Club of Nashua West, is on the St. Joseph Charity Golf Tournament Committee and volunteers for CU 4 Reality teaching middle school students the importance of financial responsibility.

 Patti Flynn is Assistant Principal at SAU 41 in the Hollis-Brookline School District.  She resides in Nashua, NH with her daughters and prior to taking her position at SAU 41 was Assistant Principal at Ledge Street School in Nashua, NH.

Melissa Goerbig is Chief Operating Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua and Greater Salem, responsible for development of all programs, performance management and team leadership.  She grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and completed her Bachelors of Social Work degree from Western Michigan University in 2001 and her Masters of Social Work Administration degree from the University Of Connecticut in 2005.  Having served on several boards and committees, most recently, Melissa was a founding board member of MyTurn, inc. Regional Board and served on the Nashua and Salem Youth Vision committee. Melissa is currently completing the Toastmasters Speechcraft course to further develop her community leadership skills.  Melissa resides with her husband and son in Manchester, NH, and enjoys family activities, cooking, gardening, and being outdoors.

Brian Hubert is an Account Manager for UPS and currently resides with his wife and dog in Nashua where he grew up. Brian attended St. Anselm College and holds with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. He is the assistant varsity coach for the Nashua North High School Boys Lacrosse team and serves as a board member for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua.

Kevin Kerrigan is Deputy Chief/ Shift Commander with the City of Nashua Fire Department.  He was appointed to Nashua Fire Rescue in 1987, promoted to Lieutenant in 1999 and then Captain in 2007.  In June 2011 he was promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief.  A native of Woburn, MA, Deputy Kerrigan is a member of the SMART Hazardous Materials Response Team as a certified Hazardous Materials Technician. Deputy Kerrigan attended North Shore Community College-Beverly where he earned an Associates Degree in Fire Science.  Deputy Kerrigan is currently serving a 7th term as President of the Nashua Fireman’s Relief Association.

Brian Moushegian is an attorney at the law firm of Devine, Millimet & Branch, Professional Association in Manchester, New Hampshire.  Brian, a native of Nashua, is involved in various pro bono litigation efforts and a current member of the St. Anselm College Corporate Partners Committee.  Brian and his wife live with their daughter in Bedford, NH.

Stacey Peterson is AVP and Store Manager with TD Bank, where she has been employed since 2007, responsible for overall operation of a Store including business development, customer service and promotion of TD Bank through community activity involvement. Stacey holds a Masters of Business Administration from Rivier College and is recently married.

Anthony Piccola is the owner and operator of New Hampshire’s sole Chick-fil-A franchise at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua.  He and his wife reside in Nashua and welcomed their first child this year.

Carol Powis joined The PLUS Company in 2010, having left a career as a document management consultant, demonstrating to businesses how to save time and money by utilizing software and a variety of office machinery. She then worked in the field of personal development, assisting both personal and business clients in understanding their strengths, which in turn enabled them to develop plans to elevate their success. This varied background has enabled Carol to find customized development solutions for every consumer that she supports. Carol is an active member of Nashua Rotary Club West and serves as an ambassador with the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce.

Kim Reagan is Director of Commercial Marketing and Leasing at R.J. Finlay and Co. in Nashua, NH where she has been employed for two and a half years.  She studied Business and Marketing at Southern Union College and is a graduate of the Leadership Manchester program (2000).  She is a member of BNI New Hampshire, Nashua Rotary West and the Chambers of Commerce in Nashua and Manchester.

 David Robbins was sworn into office as NH State Representative in January, 2010 where he proposes, considers, speaks to and votes upon all bills, resolutions and Constitutional Amendments considered by the NH General Court. As a member of the Child and Family Law Committee, Dave vets all legislative proposals on matters of child welfare, marriage, divorce, custody, abuse and other related matters and as a member of the Hillsborough County Executive Committee he considers all budgetary matters for NH’s largest county.  Dave is retired from a career with the Social Security Administration where he served for 34 years.  In addition to his current role in the NH House, Dave is a Justice of the Peace, political writer and TV host.

Jamie Stein owns and operates, an independent health insurance agency specializing in working with individuals, families, small businesses and seniors.  Jamie serves as a Director Consultant for BNI New Hampshire and as an Ambassador for the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce.  Jamie leads the Project Planning Committee for the Legacy Playground Project.  Prior to starting, Jamie helped Fortune 500 companies such as AOL, The New England Patriots, Viacom, Toshiba, MBNA and Time Warner market their brand image through the use of promotional merchandise.  Jamie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Communication from Bentley University in Waltham, MA and lives in Nashua with his wife and their son.

Tina Strandell, Manager of Billing and Contract Administrator with Skillsoft, is a firm believer in life-long learning and completed her Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University in 2008.  Daughter of a retired Air Force Captain, Tina spent part of her childhood living in New England later moving to Florida and, following high school, attended the University of Florida where she earned a BA in Education.  Tina taught 4th grade before her husband was assigned to Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts at which time she took a job with the 66th Services Squadron as a Contracting Officer for the Non-appropriated Funds Department.  Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and playing with her six animals. She spends time volunteering at her son’s school. Living in Merrimack, NH has given Tina the opportunity to enjoy nature and the changes of seasons.

Blademil Tavares is an Engineer with Northeast Utilities, formerly PSNH.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in power engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  Prior to joining PSNH, Blad served as associate engineer for National Grid. Born in New York City, Blad moved to Nashua, NH in 1991, where he has lived until moving to Manchester, NH in April, 2012.  Blad volunteers for and supports the United Way and was recently involved with auctioning off PSNH’s Chevy Volt to use for a weekend.  The auction proceeds went to the United Way’s Art Campaign.

Gale Taylor, principal and founder of Gale Force Facilitators Int’l, is a professional meeting facilitator with over fifteen years experience facilitating all types of meetings including focus groups and customer advisory councils with various organizations ranging from large multi-national corporations to local non-profit groups. Before founding Gale Force Facilitators, Gale worked for IBM for 10 years as a Linux technical strategist as well as product manager and business development manager. A graduate of Lafayette College in Easton, PA, Gale holds a BA in Psychology and Secondary Education Teaching Certificate. She earned her Masters in Business Administration from National University in San Diego, CA. As a government liaison for the American Red Cross, Gale holds certifications in Surveillance, Disease Investigation and Epidemiology, Psychological First Aid and is a Hepatitic C instructor.  Gale ran marathons in Boston, Bermuda and Alaska raising over $40,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and has adopted a 7-year old girl from Russia (over 6 years ago).  She lives and works in Brookline, NH with her husband and 3 children.

Tina Venetos is a realtor at Liakos Real Estate LLC, licensed in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  She serves on the board of directors for the Youth Council in Nashua and is a Steering Committee Member for IUGO, a Nashua networking group which creates and develops events and activities designed to promote both social and professional connections and development among Young Professionals and which promotes the Greater Nashua community as a place to live, work and play for young professionals.  Tina holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs & Modern Greek from the University of New Hampshire and is engaged to be married.
