New Location Proposed

Legislation was brought to the City of Nashua's Board of Aldermen on 7/14/15 to accept a gift of $170,000 from our group for the construction of an accessible playground at Labine Park on Cleveland Street (next to Fairgrounds Middle School). Plans are being drafted for the location, inspired by the plans created for the original proposed site at Greeley Park. We are very pleased to be moving forward and hope to announce a build date soon for volunteers from the community to help complete the project!

$169,447 and Counting!

Thanks to the support of the Greater Nashua community - individuals, businesses and foundations - we are pleased to share that we have nearly reached $170,000 in gifts for the Legacy Playground Project!  We still need your help to get to $170,000!  Please contact Legacy Playground Fundraising Chairperson, Tricia Casey , to find out how YOU can be a part of this amazing project!

Community Build Day

Join dozens of fellow Nashuan's as we work together to build the Legacy Playground, Nashua's first all accessible playground. This event is the culmination of years of hard work to bring this invaluable resource to the community.

This is your opportunity to swing a hammer, plant a tree, or otherwise pitch in to make this new playground the crown jewel of Nashua playgrounds!

Participants can volunteer on Saturday 8/13 and Sunday 8/14, either day, for a shift that runs 8AM-12PM, 12PM-4PM, or both! The more the better!

Register Now!

Registration is open until midnight on August 11th and you can register yourself and up to 20 additional participants!
